EasyJet Holidays’ ‘Spa’ Resort Lacks Facilities

A recent holiday experience has raised concerns about misleading advertising by EasyJet Holidays. A couple who booked a week-long stay at the Vasia Sea Retreat in Sissi, Crete, for £1,070 were disappointed to find that the resort did not have the advertised spa or gym facilities. The couple had chosen the retreat specifically for its wellness offerings, as the husband required access to a gym for rehabilitation after a knee injury, while the wife was interested in pool and pilates classes.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the nearest gym and spa were located a significant distance away, requiring a round-trip journey. This situation echoes a previous complaint where another EasyJet Holidays customer faced unexpected fees for using a heated pool and spa, which were not clearly communicated prior to booking.

The couple's experience highlights ongoing issues with transparency in holiday advertising and the importance of clear communication from travel companies regarding the amenities available at their properties. As consumers increasingly rely on online reviews and descriptions, the expectation for accurate representations of services is paramount.
